Integrated Services for Children & Young People

What we do

Integrated Services for Children & Young People has been one of Greater Shankill Partnerships signature programmes since 2009.  Whilst it has adapted and changed in some ways over the years, it has remained constant in its role to provide quality home based family support within the Greater Shankill Community.

ISCYP Family Support Workers can help with issues such as:

  • Living Conditions & The Home Environment
  • School Attendance & Issues such as transferring or settling in
  • Health of the Family
  • Financial Support – Benefits, Bills, Debt
  • Anti-social Behaviours – behavioural problems

How we do it

We work with any family in Greater Shankill which has a child aged 4 or older.  Once referred, each family will have their own dedicated Family Support Worker who will assess their needs and develop a support plan for everyone in the family.  This Holistic Approach works because everyone in the family is involved, and everyone is supported.  It’s also Holistic because all areas of life are assessed – Health, Education, Social and Issues or adversities the family have faced.

Men’s Group

Our Men’s group started as a small project, yet it has developed into an established group meeting weekly with a group of local men who engage and talk about a range of topics and organise activities which support inclusion, positive mental health and reduce isolation.
